We are delighted that Amelia Hopkinson, who completed her apprenticeship in IT Supplier Management at King’s Service Centre has won Apprentice of the Year at the Cornwall Apprenticeships Awards 2022. Shortlisted in the Digital and IT category Amelia passed her apprenticeship with distinction.

Sponsored by Exeter University, the award recognises Cornwall’s brightest and best apprentices, chosen from a public vote drawn from 42 nominees shortlisted across 16 categories. Judge David Hoskin, Professor of Evolutionary Biology at Exeter University, said “Amelia has a fantastic work ethic and is academically very strong. Congratulations Amelia, the future is very, very bright future for you”.

Dave Pople, Head of Supplier Management at King’s Service Centre also collect our Highly commended certificate for SME Employer of the Year.

I am incredibly proud of Amelia. Since starting with KSC I noticed how determined and dedicated she is, this award clearly demonstrates that she has the same mindset on whatever she sets her mind to – Well done, Amelia
