This week long celebration from 6th – 12th February brings together everyone passionate about apprenticeships to celebrate the value, benefit, and opportunity that apprenticeships bring.
We’ve created these short videos with our King’s IT apprentices – past and present, and with their managers to give you a feel for our apprenticeship offering.
King’s Service Centre is the professional service centre that supports the work of King’s College London from Cornwall.
Since opening the centre in Newquay in 2015, 35 apprentices have passed through, we’ve kick started careers for 21 of our previous apprentices and 9 of our colleagues are in their fourth role since joining as an apprentice.
Currently we have 4 apprentices working on the Service Desk with plans to expand the programme to other IT departments in the coming year.
We would like to thank; the AV apprentices for filming on campus, current and previous apprentices for agreeing to be interviewed and filmed and their mentors for giving us the insight into the value, benefit and opportunities that apprentices bring to King’s.
If you are interested in an apprenticeship opportunity at King’s Service Centre then please check the website www.apprenticeships.gov.uk for the latest vacancies.
