This week employees of King’s Service Centre are asked to think about how they would like to progress and develop their skills.
One of the benefits of working for King’s Service Centre is that staff can use up to 10 working days per year for training and conferences.
Throughout the pandemic all learning has been provided virtually. We can use LinkedIn Learning, the universities own Digital Skills Hub and take part in external training courses virtually.
As a member of the IT team it is expected that you study the ITIL4 Foundation, this is the best practice framework for managing services. You are also asked to take part in Arbinger training which will enable you to tackle difficult situations and build relationships by taking the time to understand the perspective of others and asking how we can help.
