We provide all of the first line IT support on a 24x7x365 basis as well as hosting the Estates & Facilities Service Desk required for King’s College London and its 27,000 students and 7,000 staff. Many other 2nd & 3rd line and high value IT roles are based at our purpose built offices in Quintdown Business Park, near Newquay in Cornwall.

Our Service Centre brings modern highly skilled IT career opportunities to Cornwall; building success through the ongoing recruitment of local talent, as well as investing in the training and development of staff and creating graduate and apprenticeship opportunities.
The roles created at the Service Centre are wide ranging and offer opportunities to those at all stages of their career. From entry level IT roles and apprenticeships at Level 3 & 4 right through to Analysts, Senior Analysts, Team Leads and Heads of Services.
We work closely with Cornwall College who deliver the educational content of our apprenticeship schemes. This complements the vocational, on the job training that is delivered by our own experienced team members. We believe that we are the first stop in Cornwall for those beginning their exciting career aided by our belief that the training and support of those embarking on their career is part of our responsibility to society. King’s, as a university, is dedicated to serving society through education, and the Service Centre aims to establish this same culture in our team in Cornwall. We have an ongoing commitment to the professional and personal development of our team through offering professional certification, such as ITIL, and bespoke courses to benefit us as individuals and the team as a whole.
